Can a Horrible Golfer Use Golf for Business Development?

Question:  If one is a horrible golfer?? Can the business dev still work? maybe hang out at the clubhouse?

Answer:  Absolutely! Much more than just hang out at the clubhouse. For example, there are charity events every week during Spring, Summer and Fall. They are attended by top decision-makers who are there for anywhere from 6 to 10 hours depending on the format of the event (pre-golf lunch, golf, awards dinner afterwards, for example). If you volunteer to help on event day you can meet and interact with people that it might take you weeks or months to get an appointment from. Plus, as an added benefit, because you are helping a charity they are supporting, you have achieved instant credibility and a shared bond in helping that charity. Now when you want to get a meeting with them to discuss business, it'll be a whole lot easier.  This is one of the many tips you'll find in my book and workshop:  "Use Golf To Make More Money:  The ABC's of Business Golf"  ~ A.J.
